There is beauty in home.

Hi, I’m Rachel and I have loved design for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I watched my mom and aunt move furniture, hang art, and turn houses into homes. My mom fostered that love in me and let me design my own bedroom, then she helped bring it all to life. That’s really where it all started.

That passion stuck with me through high school and led me to study Interior Design in college. I interned in New York City and even got offered a job there, but I decided to go back and finish my senior year and earn my degree. Since then, I’ve worked with designers and custom home builders—and I’ve loved every bit of it.

But honestly, some of my biggest lessons have come from real life. Creating a home for my own family, hosting all kinds of people over the years, and even going back to my childhood home during a tough season taught me that there’s a big difference between a pretty house and a meaningful home.

What I love most is helping people bring their homes to life—spaces that reflect who they are, what they care about, and what makes them feel at peace. That’s what I’m all about here at Walnut Avenue Home: creating spaces that function well, are beautiful, and feel good.
